Forum Title: Do metal roofs get struck my lightning?
I just thought of that. If not, why? I don‚t think I‚ve ever lived in a place with a metal roof. It seems like it would be a big lightning rod.

Ever meet a guy with a metal plate in his head? Ask him the same question. See what he tells you. There‚s your answer.

No that's not true, metal conducts electricity so it would dissipate the lightning. Check out this video and it will answer all your questions.

That‚s pretty interesting. You sure know how to find good videos on YouTube. I‚ve always wondered this. Thanks for clearing it up for me. I‚ll never look at a metal roof the same way again.
