Forum Title: Unusual stone coated tile
A house I was recently working on resurfacing the flat roof decks had an unusual shape tile on it, and an odd way of fixings. I have never seen these before, from a distance I thought they were Hardies Slates, but they are metal and they have the same finish as Decra stone coated tiles. The house (and the tiles) date from the early 1980?s. Seems to work, no reports of them leaking. But they never caught on I guess, as I say never seen them anywhere else. Decra was already around 10 years prior to this, so its not a concept tile, it would have taken a big stamping machine to make these, so not a backyard production either.
